The advancement of technology has influenced modern education; nowadays, several institutions have begun to integrate video-based material into the teaching and learning process. Thus, this study sought to examine the effectiveness of video-based material in teaching, as well as learners' evaluation of the use of video-based material in learning Health 6. The study was designed with a quasi-experimental approach with a total of 32 participants of Grade 6 MGT from Catarman Elementary School; data were gathered and analyzed using mean, paired sample t-test, and standard deviation. The findings of the study showed that there was an improvement in students' scores and performances after the implementation of video-based material, which revealed that there is a significant difference between their pretest and posttest scores. Furthermore, the results of the study showed that learners perceived video-based material as valuable and easy to use, which influenced their positive attitude and actual use of video-based materials in their learning. Moreover, based on the research findings, the researchers developed a research-based suggestion that enhanced technology integration, like video-based classroom instructions.

The electronic prototype display (EPD) is instructional material for teaching physics, specifically on the topic of electricity transmission and distribution. This study investigated the effectiveness of electronic prototype display (EPD) in teaching electricity transmission and distribution among grade 9 students in Cordova National High School, Day-as Cordova Cebu, in the school year 2024-2025. An explanatory sequential design is used where the researchers gathered quantitative data with students' scores prior to and after using the electronic prototype display (EPD), followed by qualitative analysis through content expert suggestions. The study established whether there is a statistical difference in student performance following the use of the prototype. It demonstrated its content validity in terms of alignment with learning objectives, instruction quality, and visual appearance. Expert opinion is also sought in order to determine potential areas of improvement for further enhancement of the prototype. Results revealed that the electronic prototype display (EPD) does improve students' knowledge, as indicated through higher post-test scores. Experts on content assessed the prototype high on Alignment of Lesson Objectives and instructional Quality and offered some recommendations for enhancement in the Visual Appearance. Based on the result, further enhancement is proposed to make the prototype more effective as an instructional tool. Therefore, the researchers recommended that teachers should use the Electronic Prototype Display as this material is designed to support and enhance the learning outcomes.

This research determined the language assessment strategies employed by selected schools in the Lapu-Lapu City Division, Mactan National High School, and a selected school from the private sector, Nissi Academy International, in the Academic Year 2023- 2024. Researchers selected a public school and drew the samples from it. This study highlighted English Teachers' assessments utilized by the selected sectors, the factors that influenced them in designing their assessments, their challenges, and best-practice assessments. The study employed a Mixed Method Design to comprehensively collect qualitative and quantitative data from the sample size within a defined geographical area. The findings revealed that authentic assessment methods like Role-plays and Oral Participation were preferred among both sectors, emphasizing real-world scenarios and communication skills. Challenges in assessment construction, validation, and evaluation were identified but mitigated by competency-based approaches. The researchers recommend an assessment that allows students to practice and demonstrate the five macro skills in the language. Authentic assessment is tailored for this because it promotes active learning, and a student-centered approach will provide meaningful and engaging activities tailored to individual needs, interests, and backgrounds.
